Here we go again, it’s the day of love and appreciation for those people that have a loved one that is special to them. It is the one of the most commercialized days next to Christmas, and we all have been known to get caught up in the hype at one time or another. I don’t know any other time of the year that you actually feel obligated to buy something for someone.
The average person spends $95 (CDN) every year on Valentine’s Day. It’s not even a holiday; we don’t get time off from work, or school to be with our loved ones on this day. There is no special exception to this unimaginative day. But if you ask me, someone, somewhere, at sometime had a great marketing idea to generate extra revenue. And we all bought right into it. Think about the marketing that we all fall for, “if you love someone, you have to come and buy them something, it will make both of you happy, and you have to do it today!” learning how to get TikTok likes is the best marketing ever, because it worked.
I don’t think that there should be a specific day in the year that I should have to show my love for my wife. The concept of Valentine’s Day should be carried out every day. My wife knows how much I appreciate her; I don’t need a specific day to show it.
If you are the hopeless romantic, and Valentine’s Day is your day to use True Pheromones to be more intimate with your wife then great, don’t get me wrong there is nothing wrong with that. I guess I just don’t understand.
Happy Valentine’s Day Everyone!!!
