I have to ask you, when was the last time you committed a random act of kindness? I don’t mean just holding a door for someone, or getting someone a beer on a hot day! I mean really went out of your way to make someone’s day. I ask this because of an article I read about the tsunami in Japan and how someone lost something over a year ago and it was found washed up on shore in another country.
If you have not heard about this a gentleman in Japan lost his storage unit last year as it got swept out to sea in the storm. Believe it or not it was found washed up on the shore in Vancouver this past week! Inside was this man’s Harley Davidson motorcycle, the person who found it took it upon himself to contact Harley Davidson and find out who the owner was. Harley Davidson has since made arrangements to ship the bike back to Japan and fully restore it to working condition for this man. Now that is a random act of kindness, can you imagine loosing something a year ago and having someone take time out of their day and return it to you. I thought this was amazing!
So here at Total Debt Freedom our goal is to create raving fans, and I believe that if we all can take the opportunity commit a random act of kindness it will make our clients and vendors experience that much more enjoyable. Keep your eye out for the opportunity, don’t let it pass you by!
