I recently was at a rock concert and I am amazed sometimes on how people can still band together and view perfect strangers as family. That one common bond of liking the same musician or band has such a strong connection that for those brief moments, everyone belongs.
The one thing that will always restore my faith in humanity is when there is a rowdy bunch who start up the mosh pit and some poor soul loses their balance and falls to the ground. There is an almost instant stoppage of movement in the immediate area until someone helps that person back up to their feet. That moment when the crowd stops and the helping hands are extended, is one of the greatest things that I will witness.
I try to keep the mentality of always extend that helping hand, regardless of the situation. You will never know how much you can change a persons’ life by that simple act of kindness. I also feel that that is what we do here at Total Debt Freedom, we are that helping hand to pull those unfortunate people who are drowning in debt up from the ground and help dust themselves off.
Some people just can’t get a grip on their debts and fall further and further behind. One of the things we pride ourselves on is we educate and teach people how to manage their money and how to get rid of their crippling debts that they have been carrying for years. We help people get their lives back and give them the ability to live their lives again without worrying on if they will be able to float their bills this month.
Going back to the music, we here at Total Debt Freedom all have that one commonality that band us together as a family and that is we all love helping people. We all want to be that helping hand to someone so that they can feel that sigh of relief they didn’t even know they needed. It makes us feel great when we know we have just helped another family or individual get on with their lives and hope that in turn, they extend their hand when the time comes for them to help others.
