How To Get Your Kids To Start Saving
Men are really simple to please, we like good food, sports, horsepower, the outdoors and sex. You don’t need to blow a fortune on us for fathers day, so here are 5 cheap ideas for you to make that awesome Father or Spouse in your life feel special.
Food: Don’t take us out for a meal, we hate crowds and busy places, especially on fathers day. Make something; how about a favorite breakfast in bed? Is there a meal Dad likes? Make it and surprise him. We like surprises too. Even if you can’t cook, break out a recipe and make something. Cooking isn’t rocket science or expensive.
Sports: What sports does Dad like to watch or play? If he is a TV sports junkie and a game is coming up, how about preparing snacks for him and set aside a few hours so he can enjoy the game? Does he play golf, tennis etc? Maybe book a game, and play with him if he enjoys the company, otherwise send him off with his buddy for a few hours.
Horsepower: If Dad is a car or motorcycle guy, why not wash his ride for him? All guys like a nice clean and shiny ride.
The Outdoors: If Dad has a fondness for the garden, why not cut the grass that weekend, rake and pull out the weeds? Do Dads yard work for him and let him take a break for the day and sit on the deck with a cold one. Does Dad have a favorite trail he likes to take a stroll through? Why not pack a lunch and go for a picnic with the family?
